• Selecting the strain gauge that best suits your application
• Preparing the measuring point and the strain gauge
• Correctly installing the strain gauge on different materials (steel, aluminum) and applying different adhesives
• Soldering the connection wires
• Protecting the strain gauge against environmental agents
• Compensating for temperature effects and other disturbance variables
• The basics of strain gauge wiring (Wheatstone bridge circuit)
• Balancing the strain gauge measurement chain
• Get your certificate as a strain gauge installation expert in accordance with VDI/VDE-MT 2636 (previous GESA) by taking an examination at the end of the seminar (included in the seminar price).
• We have added another item to the agenda of our training course in Rotherham: The training will take place in our materials testing and fatigue laboratory, where our experts will explain how to determine material stresses from strain measurements. They will also give you an introduction to the HBK software nCode for professional data analysis. As a result, the training course in Rotherham will last half a day longer at no additional cost.
